The meet is designed for the best high school athletes in the Mid-Atlantic region to compete against each other. In 2010, the male that won the 200 , won the 200 at New Balance Outdoot Nationals a week later. 2 males also qualified for USATF Juniors in the Hammer Throw. This meet can be used as a qualifier for New Balance Nationals and USATF Juniors.
